Happy Holidays and Compliments of the Season, Beloved!
This week, something extraordinary happened in Owerri, Nigeria. My team on the ground stepped out with hearts full of love and purpose, feeding up to 150 people—beautiful children and families who are facing unimaginable hardships. The poverty in the southeast region of Nigeria is devastating, and with limited governmental support, the challenges are overwhelming.
But here’s the thing: we didn’t let that stop us. Thanks to a generous sponsorship from my incredible sister, Ijeoma, we turned compassion into action. This week’s food drive brought smiles, hope, and meals to those who needed them most. Yet, as fulfilling as this effort was, it reminded me of just how much more there is to do.
I truly believe that those of us who have been blessed with opportunities abroad have a responsibility to give back in meaningful ways. It’s not about charity—it’s about solidarity. It’s about recognizing our shared humanity and doing what we can to uplift one another.
